At MICA, we not only train and educate students in the field of management but also make them live management. Since the time of its inception in 1991, MICA has been providing the industry with quality managers in the field of Marketing, Media and Advertising and this stands as a testament of the high standards and diversity of the student pool and versatility of the curriculum of MICA.
Great emphasis has been laid on the rigorous selection procedure to ensure that a perfect talent pool is chosen for its flagship programme, PGDM-C. MICA has a unique admission procedure consisting of MICA Admission Test (MICAT), group exercises and personal interviews. MICAT is a special test designed to identify students with a perfect mix of analytical and creative skills with strong lateral thinking abilities, though a combination of psychometric, aptitude and general awareness questions. This balanced approach is also extended to the curriculum by offering Core and Foundation courses in the fields of Marketing, General Management, Digital, Media-Advertising paired up with Culture and Communication courses like Communication Theories, Imagining India and Semiotics. This helps students understand the Indian diaspora, which is key for marketing.
To equip the students with an industry-aligned approach, MICA provides students the opportunity to work on numerous live projects with the industry along with Summer Internships. These opportunities hone a MICA student’s analytical and logical skills with a platform to apply their creativity and out-of- the-box solutions.
