His technical grounding was built through a Master of Science completed with highest honors from Virginia Tech, alongside three University Gold Medals and a University First Rank across multiple engineering disciplines. This blend of engineering precision and decision science shapes his pragmatic approach to enterprise technology and management strategy.
In industry, Dr. Kukshya served as a scientist and principal investigator at HRL Laboratories, leading advanced research across the aerospace, automotive, and defense sectors that resulted in multiple U.S. patents and technological breakthroughs. At Infosys, he directed technology initiatives across autonomous navigation, smart manufacturing architectures, and energy management systems, turning deep technical concepts into scalable enterprise solutions.
His scholarly research is published in leading IEEE journals and international conference proceedings, contributing to foundational advances in wireless technologies, communication systems, and vehicular networks. His current work explores the intersection of decision sciences, signal processing, machine learning, and real-time inference within resource-constrained environments. Alongside his research, Dr. Kukshya has held significant academic leadership roles, including serving as Head of PGPX and New Programmes at IIM Ahmedabad.
