Prof. (Dr.) Minu Kumari brings a strong foundation in sustainable finance, financial econometrics, and macroeconomic risk analysis to MICA. She completed her doctoral research in Management Studies from the Department of Management Studies (DOMS) at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee), where she maintained high academic standing. Prior to her Ph.D., she earned both her Master of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce degrees with first-class distinction from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi. Her academic trajectory is marked by merit achievements, including qualifying for both the UGC NET Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) in Commerce.

Her research centers on green finance, capital market dynamics, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) market behavior. Dr. Kumari’s doctoral dissertation investigates the empirical impacts of economic policy uncertainty and geopolitical risks on the performance of green bond markets. Utilizing advanced econometric and time-series modeling techniques, such as Non-linear Autoregressive Distributed Lag (NARDL) frameworks and Quantile Regressions, she examines how macroeconomic volatility and policy shocks trigger asymmetric responses across sustainable financial instruments.

Dr. Kumari is an active scholar whose research has been published in premier international peer-reviewed journals by Elsevier, Springer Nature, and Emerald. Her work appears in ABDC-indexed and Scopus-ranked journals, including Managerial Finance, the Journal of Economic Asymmetry, and Economic Change and Restructuring. Alongside her journal publications, she actively presents her research at prominent academic symposiums, including conferences organized by the Department of Economics at IIT Bombay and the Research Symposium on Finance and Economics (RSFE) hosted by IFMR GSB, Krea University.

At MICA, Dr. Kumari connects financial theories, managerial accounting, and sustainable investing with strategic business applications. Having contributed extensively as a teaching assistant for core finance and accounting subjects across IIT Roorkee and NPTEL platforms, she emphasizes clear, application-oriented learning in the classroom. She guides students through corporate valuation, working capital strategies, and the financial dimensions of sustainability, equipping future brand and business leaders to navigate climate-conscious financial markets with analytical clarity.
