Dr. Anurag Dugar is a marketing academic, trainer, and consultant with more than two decades of experience spanning industry, academia, executive education, and institution building. Over the course of his career, he has engaged extensively with some of India’s leading management institutions, including multiple IIMs, IITs, and prominent business schools. His areas of expertise include brand management, service excellence, customer experience design, pricing strategy, B2B marketing, and marketing metrics, reflecting a strong commitment to connecting academic knowledge with managerial practice.

His academic journey combines a Ph.D. in Marketing with postgraduate qualifications in management and commerce. Dr. Dugar’s research has consistently focused on addressing real-world business challenges, particularly in areas such as branding, consumer behavior, service quality, retailing, sustainability, and customer loyalty. His work has appeared in reputed national and international journals, including publications in ABDC-ranked outlets and leading journals in marketing and consumer research.

Beyond research, Dr. Dugar has played significant leadership roles in management education. He served as Associate Professor at Goa Institute of Management and earlier as Assistant Professor at IIM Shillong, where he held several administrative responsibilities, including leadership of admissions, student affairs, executive programmes, and curriculum-related initiatives. He has also contributed to the development of executive education offerings and academic programmes, demonstrating a sustained interest in institution building and educational innovation.

A prolific author and educator, Dr. Dugar has published books on marketing metrics and business performance measurement and has contributed numerous case studies, book chapters, and practitioner-oriented articles. He regularly conducts management development programmes and executive workshops for corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and public-sector organizations. His teaching and consulting philosophy is rooted in helping individuals and organizations develop a deeper understanding of markets, consumers, brands, and business performance in an increasingly dynamic environment.
