June: MICA Core

Orientation and Understanding MICA’s Core – Ways of Being, Ways of Seeing and Ways of Learnings

June - September

School Specific Core: You will start by knowing the self, becoming familiar with the Art of Imagination, the Art of Creativity and the Art and Science of Innovation. You will also learn the foundations of entrepreneurship and the essentials of Semiotics. This term will close with the integration studio where you will lead the self to creating Artefacts using the Multi-Lens Synthesis.

Programme – Domain Specific Core: Here you will learn Media cultures ways to handle difficult situation like cancel culture, ways to be an ethical and responsible creator, along with Content monetisation through commercial models to build Visual Stories

October – January: Major Specialisations And Portfolio Development

Creators Economy and Commerce

They will know the basis of the Creator Economy and content development

Content and Copywriting

Learning the strategy and copywriting for Personal brand, Social Media, Reels, YouTube Videos and Influencer Campaigns. Use of digital and AI Tools for content creation and posting

Content Production

Students will learn to develop platform-agnostic content, including audio, video and while employing GenAI.

Creator Analytics and Measurement

A minor specialisation in knowing the techniques and mechanics for maximising impact and analytics for boosting views and engagement

Talent Management

Students will learn the basics of Talent Management and finer process and skill of talent acquisition and relationship management.

Being a direction enthusiast, you will be able to learn Basics and Advance of Art Direction and Ad Film Production. You will also learn the process and method of preparing Treatment Notes and shooting Ad Films.

January – February: Internship

Every Student will have a 45-day Internship in industry along with hands-on practical experience

March – April: Experiential and Immersion

The students will study local culture and formulate Social media campaign through creative and cultural immersion to develop their portfolio for exhibition.
