His academic journey combines a Ph.D. in Marketing with postgraduate qualifications in management and commerce. Dr. Dugar’s research has consistently focused on addressing real-world business challenges, particularly in areas such as branding, consumer behavior, service quality, retailing, sustainability, and customer loyalty. His work has appeared in reputed national and international journals, including publications in ABDC-ranked outlets and leading journals in marketing and consumer research.
Beyond research, Dr. Dugar has played significant leadership roles in management education. He served as Associate Professor at Goa Institute of Management and earlier as Assistant Professor at IIM Shillong, where he held several administrative responsibilities, including leadership of admissions, student affairs, executive programmes, and curriculum-related initiatives. He has also contributed to the development of executive education offerings and academic programmes, demonstrating a sustained interest in institution building and educational innovation.
A prolific author and educator, Dr. Dugar has published books on marketing metrics and business performance measurement and has contributed numerous case studies, book chapters, and practitioner-oriented articles. He regularly conducts management development programmes and executive workshops for corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and public-sector organizations.
