Her academic interests span HRM systems, work culture, labour welfare, the gig economy, knowledge work, career plateauing, and employee behavior, with a particular emphasis on both qualitative and experimental research methods.
Her research seeks to understand contemporary workplace challenges and the organizational mechanisms that influence employee experiences. She has been recognized for her doctoral scholarship with the IFCI Award for Best Thesis Proposal (2024) and the Best Paper Award for Robustness and Generalizability of Evidence at the International Technology and Societal Impact Conference (2026). Her ongoing research explores themes such as workplace incivility, abusive supervision, employee welfare, workplace environments, and organizational responses to evolving forms of work.
Dr. Trivedi has contributed to both academic and practitioner-oriented knowledge through publications, case writing, and conference presentations. Her case study Aster Retail UAE (A): Connecting Employees, Customers and Business Results was published through Harvard Business Publishing Education. She has also published work on talent management and career development, and has presented her research at leading forums including the Academy of Management, EURAM, INDAM, and other international conferences.
Alongside her research, Dr. Trivedi is actively engaged in teaching and academic service. She has taught Human Capital Management at Ahmedabad University and Strategic Management at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India. Her teaching and research experience is complemented by several years of work as a Research Assistant at IIM Ahmedabad, where she supported research, consulting, leadership development, and executive education initiatives. She also serves as a reviewer for leading academic associations in the fields of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management.
