Manish Gangwar is a faculty member at Indian School of Business. Professor Gangwar holds a PhD in marketing from The University of Texas at Dallas. His research explores marketing issues using quantitative models. He has developed several theoretical models that have applications in designing optimal promotional strategies in frequently purchased goods and optimal pricing tariffs in service industry. Although, his research interest primarily lies in exploring pricing issues, he has also researched consumers’ store choice decisions, celebrity advertising in emerging markets, safety incentive programs in US construction industry and product recall communication strategies. He has an MS from the University of Kentucky, BE from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and years of industry experience.
