Smrti Srivastava, a student of Second Year PGDM-C at MICA, Ahmedabad, was recognized as one of 'The Economic Times Young Leaders (B-School) 2014' along with 18 others from various top-notch Business Schools across the country. The competition was spread across two months, and adjudged participants on the basis several criteria, some of which included aptitude tests, psychometric tests and live business case projects. Some of the best contestants, who were then selected, underwent intensive interviews in their final round which was held in Mumbai.

The Economic Times Young Leaders B-School Edition, is India's largest and one of the most definitive platforms that help identify tomorrow's corporate leaders. The final lap of The B-School Edition brought Smrti Srivastava, face to face with an eminent jury panel comprising India's leading CEOs.

When asked about her experience throughout the course of the competition, says Smrti, "I was interviewed by Mr Dev Bhattacharya Group Executive President (Corporate Strategy & Business Development) & Business head — Solar power & Ecommerce, Aditya Birla Group and Mr Sanjay Rishi, President, American Express South Asia. I was asked a varied set of questions, ranging from life-changing moments, challenges at work and the things on my bucket list, to what I would say if this were an interview for my dream job. The two CEOs were extremely observant and paid close attention to every word that I said. I also got the opportunity to interact with fellow students from B-schools such as ISB, IIMs, etc. Overall, it was a very enriching experience."
