Nilay Moonje has made a habit of coming in at the top. In 2002, he topped the Crafting Creative Communications programme at MICA. The next year, he came in first again, to win Dubai Media City’s IBDA’A International Media Student 2003 Award for Advertising. Then, in 2004, he was named the Ogilvy Young National Creative Person of the Year.
That was just the start of a 12-year career that is now littered with awards won at the Abbys, Mirchi Kaan, Effie, Kyoorius, National Hero and the Asia Pacific Adfest, for his work on leading national and international brands such as Amaron Batteries, SBI Life Insurance, Glycodin Cough Syrup, Star TV, Tata Motors, Parle, Johnnie Walker and Reliance Mutual Fund. Today, he is Group Creative Director at DDB Mudra West.
