MICA, Ahmedabad hosted the 7th AIM-AMA Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium. The Consortium had 60 professors and scholars from 9 countries. 54 academic papers were presented in 3 parallel tracks.It was a unique congregation of academia and industry in the area of marketing.
The consortium took place from 4th January to 6th January, 2019, followed by a one-day con-ference on 7th January, 2019. The consortium provided an opportunity for doctoral students to present their research papers and receive guidance from eminent scholars in their field, along with the distinguished professors' lectures on mapping and the trajectory of the discipline of marketing.
This year, the doctoral consortium had a contemporary and relevant theme of 'Marketing Communication in the Digital Era'.
The doctoral meet was jointly organised by Dr.Shailendra Raj Mehta, President & Director MICA, Dr.Jagdish Sheth, Founder & Chairman of AIM, Emory University USA, Dr. V. Kumar, Co-founder of AIM from Georgia State University, USA and Mr. Russ Klein, CEO, American Marketing Association.
