Impetus is a one-of-a-kind competition, designed to test the future business leader in you. We are looking at unique, innovative and bold solutions to the problems shared as part of Impetus.
Round 1: Battle of the Brands
This is a MCQ based quiz comprising questions on famous Logos, taglines, CEOs, mascots of famous companies, teams and organizations
Round 2: Brainstorming Challenge
Shared will be a problem that would need your immediate attention. You are free to use any and all elements provided to you in the picture/video. You are also free to introduce new elements, if it brings you closer to solving the problem.
Use equal amounts of logical and creative discretion, to come up with a solution. What we’re looking for-
Strong problem identification skills
Disruptive, out-of-the-box approaches to solve the said problem
Easily executable ideas
- The winning team will be awarded a cash prize of ₹30,000 and each member will receive a certificate and MICA merchandise.
- The first and second runner up will receive ₹10,000 and ₹10,000 respectively.
The Terms and Conditions of participation are subject to change at any time without specific notice. The amended Terms and Conditions of entry will be effective immediately upon being posted on the Facebook page.

The team has to comprise of 2-3 members from any course/ year of the same Institution. The teams formed can be a mix of students across different years. For example, a student of first and second year can form a team and register for the competition.
Only students pursuing courses at the undergraduate level are eligible for participation.
Shortlisted Candidates will receive updates personally from the organising team for the details of the further rounds.
The decision of the organising team will be final and binding. No queries for re-evaluation will be entertained under any circumstances.
Each participant can participate in the online quiz only once.
Ensure that your laptops are charged and you have a good internet connection before giving the quiz. In case the test window is accidentally closed or internet connection is disrupted, the test won’t pause and the timer will continue to run. In such a scenario, log in again to the test portal and start the quiz. The quiz will resume from the point when the test was interrupted. No requests for extension of time shall be entertained.
The submission of the Brainstorming Challenge can be any of the following formats:
A Video (shouldn’t exceed 2 minutes)
A Word doc
A PowerPoint presentation
A scanned copy of a drawing
Any other format that you are adept at
