To put MICA on the global map and mark its place as one of the globally acclaimed institutes in Management, Communication, and Marketing in a digitally enabled environment, MICA has launched a Global Immersion Programme (MI-GIP). The internationalisation strategy will involve bilateral interactions between the faculty and leadership of MICA and global prominent universities for exchange of knowledge and building partnerships.
As part of the programme, programme heads of MICA will be visiting USA for 15 days in September. The MI-GIP aims to facilitate collaboration and exchange of people, knowledge, ideas and institutional leadership between MICA and institutions and organisations across the globe. MICA will be collaborating with premier institutions in business management, communication, marketing, media, digital and gamification, design, and start-up innovation areas.
The MICA faculty group will deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops according to their specific areas of expertise at institutes in USA. Besides, the faculty will also explore joint research possibilities, establish venues for doctoral degree collaborations, identify and define the possibility of dual degree programmes, strengthen two-way student exchange programmes and generate collaboration in area of sharing software data and high digital platform technological resources.
Dr Preeti Shroff, Dean-MICA said, “MICA is well-positioned to take the School of Ideas, vision, and faculty community abroad to promote co-creation, innovation and creative problem-solving for the industry, academia, government and social sector. This will bring in the culture of global learning, faculty investment, and exchange in higher education.”
