MICA believes that an effective programme, like a MBA, should provide a platform for students and industry professionals to exchange, connect and ideate. At MICA, student-run committees such as MICAMINDS (our student consultancy arm), MLS (MICA Lecture Series) and Research make such interactions possible. This ensures that our graduating MICA students are well aware of the market and industry realities.

MICAMINDS

MICAMINDS seeks to facilitate knowledge generation, assimilation and dissemination in various forms such as projects, case studies, lectures, etc. Over the years, MICAMINDS has worked with several clients such as Barista, Claris, Hero Honda, Yahoo, Leo Burnett, etc. to provide consumer behaviour insights, branding strategy guidelines and marketing suggestions. Through a rigorous recruitment process, the application of dedicated peer review and the highest confidentiality standards, we ensure that we provide first class advice to all our clients. The wide range of research projects undertaken by MICAMINDS speaks volumes about its skill and expertise.

Research

MICA Research intends to fill the void created by the absence of focused and systematic research in India's Strategic Marketing and Communication sector, by insisting on research of the highest academic rigour. It aims to generate research in communication areas related to local issues, while simultaneously contextualizing it within larger national and international perspectives.

MLS

The MICA Leadership Series (MLS) is about bringing perspectives of thought leaders to the MICAn community.

The student-driven MLS committee proactively works towards building industry connections by having leaders across diverse fields deliver guest lectures to the larger student body at MICA. With the aim of bringing in ‘Ideas that Inspire, from the Leaders We Aspire to Be,’MLS balances academics and thought-provoking perspectives from the industry, giving students a holistic approach towards learning and decision-making. It allows students to look out into the industry, and a platform for industry experts to acquaint themselves with MICAns.
