Innovation is the name of the game today.  Any company or brand, be it a product, service or experience marketing needs to innovate on a continuous basis in order to remain relevant to changing market needs.  The innovation may be in product features, attributes, or elements of the company’s value proposition.  The innovation then needs to be communicated to the target customers through appropriate integrated marketing communications systems.

In the business of marketing communication ideas are the sole currency.  The process of creating demand for a given product or service boils down to: coming up with an idea that will get the target consumer to believe in the value proposition of the marketer.  Customers today are not only smarter and better informed they also have at their disposal a variety of sources of information and tools for collecting information about products and services.  The marketer today has to design a communication strategy that monitors and takes into account the entire range of media options available to the customer.  This requires the marketer to come with innovative communication ideas that will convince the customers of the superiority of the company’s value proposition as against all substitutes and competitors offerings.  That is the only way how demand for a company’s brands can be created, developed and maintained.

MDP OBJECTIVES

The key objectives of the MDP on ‘Creating Demand: Customising Marketing Ideas’ is to develop strategic thinking and aptitude amongst participants through ‘learning by doing’ approach, with due support from understanding of theoretical concepts and methods of :

PROGRAMME DIRECTOR

Dr. Hemant Trivedi

The programme ‘Creating Demand: Customising Marketing Ideas’ is designed and conducted by faculty at MICA who possess rich experience in academia, industry and consulting. 

The programme will be led by Dr. Hemant Trivedi, who till recently was a Professor in the Marketing area at MICA.  With extensive industry and academic experience spanning more than 25 years, Dr. Trivedi has research interests ranging from Consumer Behaviour and Customer Psychology to Retail and Strategic Marketing. He has conducted numerous workshops and MDPs.  His hands-on industry background permits him to discuss live cases and share his experiences with participants of his programmes. Dr. Hemant Trivedi currently is Director, School of Petroleum Management, PDPU, Gandhinagar.

MICA CERTIFICATE

We recommend that you send your nominations early. If, for whatever reason, you cancel it, we will refund the fee provided we get your written request for cancellation at least 15 days ahead of the programme commencement date. In case the nominated person does not attend; the sponsoring company can nominate another person to attend the programme with prior intimation.
