MICA Dean’s Award for participants of Young Scholars’ Research Colloquium (YSRC)

ICMC for web title deans awardThe organizing committee of MICA ICMC 2017 takes pleasure to announce MICA Dean’s Awards for participants of Young Scholars’ Research Colloquium (YSRC), a pre-conference event that is going to be held on January 9, 2017. Dr Preeti Shroff, Dean MICA has announced these awards to encourage the good quality research among the emmerging scholars of communication and leadership academia. The awards will include a certificate of recognition and cash prize worth Rs 5000/- each.

MICA ICMC organizing committee and YSRC committee invite and encourage the young scholars including research assistants, the students of post graduate programmes including M. Phil and PhD programmes and teachers who are at the early stage of their career, to submit their papers to YSRC and attend the same.

Call for Papers: Young Scholars' Research Colloquium Pre-Conference, January 9, 2017 of the 4th International Communication Management Conference (ICMC) on 'People, Planet, and Profit: Synergistic Leadership for Social and Communication Innovations,' January 10-12, 2017

The International Communication Management Conference (ICMC) series is introducing its first Young Scholars’ Research Colloquium this year. This pre-conference forum is open to M.Phil. and doctoral candidates, teaching assistants, research assistants/associates, early career assistant professors, and early post doctoral candidates. It will provide young scholarswith a forum to share their research, receive feedback from experts in the field, discuss theoretical, methodological and professional challenges, and network with their peers. Scholars will also have an opportunity to understand peer-review processes for journal publication. They will learn how to identify appropriate journals, interact with editors, successfully revise papers for publication, and knowand assess the relevance of impact factors.

We invite interested young scholars to submit

  • A paper which includes: an introduction to their topic, a literature review detailing theoretical underpinnings, a research methods section, a statement about the significance of the study, a description of the current status of the study, and discussion of challenges. All papers will be circulated among attending participants.
    Word limit and formatting: 1000 words, Times Roman Font, single space, 2.5cm margin on all sides.

  • A statement of purpose indicating your interest in attending this colloquium at MICA.

  • A 100 word profile

We will invite young scholars to participate in the Colloquium on the basis of this submission.The three best papers representing different methodologies and study areas will be chosen to lead the discussion during the Young Scholars' Research Colloquium. All participants must register for the main conference on ‘People, Planet, and Profit: Synergistic Leadership for Social and Communication Innovations’ that will follow from January 10-12, 2017. The conference registration fees cover the participation in the colloquium.
