MICA Research intends to fill the void created by the absence of focused and systematic research in communications management in India by an insistence on research of the highest academic rigour. It aims to generate research in communication areas related to local issues, all the while situating this research within larger national and international perspectives and contexts.
The MICA Lecture Series provides an exciting student-industry interface which gives the students an exciting opportunity to leverage the immense knowledge and expertise of the alumni of MICA and other industry heads who have left an indelible mark on today’s world with their unique practices and their innovative approach to attacking problems in the business world.
Every year, senior industry professionals are invited to give students a glimpse of the evolving trends in the industry and corporate sectors by sharing their experience and thereby provide contemporary learning. Speakers from diverse backgrounds help students look at various career options. Interactions with these successful professionals guide the students in pursuing their goals. This platform is also helpful for potential recruiters to gauge the quality of students and there have been instances where some speakers influenced their reputed organisations to come back to campus for recruitment as they were impressed with the students.
