MICANVAS is MICA's annual brand management festival where the best minds in the country meet for three days and face off in case study and business plan competitions, white paper presentations, quizzes, debates, and a host of other formal and informal events. Over the years, it has been our endeavour to use this event as a platform to bring together some of the most eminent professionals from the industry and the best brains from the top management schools in India and internationally, unleashing hidden talent. Each year, MICANVAS chooses a theme which then becomes the focal point of our flagship event, The Panel Discussion, where eminent industry personalities are invited to speak. This Panel Discussion receives extensive media coverage due to the prominence of the speakers.
MICANVAS is the most glamorous committee on campus and rightly so. It is the face of MICA in the B-School circuit in India as well as around the world. It is also a very prestigious committee to be in because it sees the maximum number of applicants. Being part of MICANVAS will ensure that you get the right mix of industry exposure and pure fun.
The senior MICANVAS team will put all aspirants through gruelling interviews and assignments at inhuman hours and select a bunch of candidates who will form the junior team. The junior and senior team functions and toils as the core MICANVAS team and brings MICANVAS to a heady finale. At the end of the year, the outgoing senior team, via a semi-democratic and semi-autocratic process, selects the new senior team and the cycle continues!
