Knowledge Exchange and Information Centre (KEIC)

MICA KEIC is an exclusive centre for advertising, media, marketing and related information. It extends information support to marketers, ad agencies, media houses, management institutes and researchers. MICA is proud of its hi-tech library. "Libraryonline" is 24/7 and physical access to library is open for 142 hours in a week. Its wide database covers books, newspapers, dissertations, television commercials, non-book materials, case studies, print ads and periodicals. The KEIC's database helps in decision making, defining future strategies, making new business presentations and understanding the market. This saves time, money and efforts that go into collecting information from diverse sources.


We subscribe to ABC, ABI/Inform, Advertising Research Foundation (ARF),  Business Source Complete – EBSCO, Cannes Lions Archive, Economic Intelligence Service – CMIE, Communication and Media Studies – Sage, Communication Arts, Communication and Mass Media Complete – EBSCO, Economic & Political Weekly, Euromonitor International, European Case Clearing House (ECCH), Indiastat.com, Emerging Markets Information Service (EMIS), JSTOR, Luerzers Archive, Questia Online Library, TAM and World Advertising Research Centre (WARC).


The reference section has more than 26,872 Television Commercials digitised and available online and more than 1,73,368 newspaper clippings on areas ranging from advertising, mass media and internet to marketing and over 2,023 student dissertations and summer reports. Information is an important tool for decision making, research, and education. KEIC has an effective information management system in place to retrieve information at any given point of time. KEIC is a unique place for knowledge and research in communications management.

2. To serve the Advertising Industry, Market Research Agencies, Marketers, Media Houses, Management Institutes etc.

KEIC Membership

KEIC members include the faculty, staff, and students of MICA. KEIC membership is open to Alumni (PGDM, FPM, Faculty, and Board member) based locally. Researcher (Ph.D. candidate) in communication management can also become a member of the KEIC. Academic institutions and institution (non-academic) can take the membership of the KEIC.
